National marine guidance manuals
Maritime Safety Queensland has agreed to implement the below National Marine Safety Committee guidelines. They can be accessed from the National Marine Safety Committee website.
The guidance manuals available on the National Marine Safety Committee include:
- Administrative protocol for the mutual recognition of vessel certificates of survey
- Guidelines for onboard safety training – Australian domestic vessels
- Guidelines for recognition of Australian Defence Force marine related qualifications
- Guidelines for auditing registered training organisations
- Tinting of navigational space windows
- Rigid inflatable boats (RIB)
- Superyacht policy
- Foam buoyancy.
