Mackay Tinnie and Tackle Boat Show
An all-purpose yellow plastic bucket will be a big a hit with boaties at the Mackay Tinnie and Tackle show at the Mackay Harbour this weekend, Maritime Safety Queensland predicts.
The buckets carry important safety tips on each side and can be used as an all-purpose bucket onboard a vessel.
They always draw a crowd at the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle event and Maritime Safety Queensland is making sure they have plenty of stocks ready at their display stand at Mackay’s inaugural event on June 25 and 26.
The buckets include a space for recording expiry dates for flares, EPIRBs and life jackets as well as reminders on proper disposal of rubbish and important emergency radio frequency advice.
Boaties are always on the lookout for an all-purpose bucket and a reliable bailer is part of their required safety equipment so our buckets meet a demand and offer a unique method of providing safety messages where we know they will be read. So you could say this is a bucket list every boatie should have.
