Port Douglas pilotage area
The Port Douglas pilotage area is the area of: (a) waters at
the high water mark consisting of:
- Dicksons Inlet and connected waterways system from the head of
navigation to the inlet mouth
- from the inlet mouth, the waters within a one nautical mile
radius centred at the northern extremity of Island Point on the
mainland; and
(b) the navigable waters of rivers and creeks flowing, directly
or indirectly, into the waters in the above paragraph
(a).
